Family style dining celebrates the meal as a communal rather than an individual experience. Instead of relishing one's own beautifully plated dish, the diner is invited to engage in the intensely social experience of choosing and enjoying a wide variety of dishes with everyone at the table.

Family style catering is designed to be shared right at the table like you would find in a typical dining room dinner gathering.
The platters are designed to share between tables of 4 or tables of 8. Each of the menu items would be on an individual platter or serving vessel in portions of 4 or 8 depending on the size you’ve chosen.
The guests would be serving themselves off of these platters right at their table while they are seated and passing food within themselves. As this requires more serving vessels and utensils than a buffet there are additional rental costs and may incur additional staffing costs for these menus.
